ABOUT

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE A FILM IN 7 DAYS?

The Corpus Christi 7-Day Film Project (CC7D) is an annual filmmaking competition and screening. The contest was founded in 2007. It was designed to:

  • - celebrate area filmmakers, both veterans and amateurs

  • - create an avenue for more filmmaking activity in our area

  • - boost the skill set and create resume experience for local filmmakers, actors   and crew

  • - have a lot of fun in the name of independent filmmaking

Filmmaking teams have one week to make a short film from start to finish. The entire process must occur within that 7 days. The Official 7-Day Time Period for 2016 is from the Kickoff on Wednesday, July 5 at House of Rock to the Wrap Party on Wednesday, July 12 at House of Rock. The completed films will be screened on at Alamo Drafthouse Corpus Christi with dates to be determined. The Screening will be followed by an Awards Ceremony and after-party at House of Rock.
