The Cell Phone Project is a fast-turn filmmaking challenge where teams create a short film in just one week using a device that’s already in your pocket.

It’s about story, momentum, and making something real instead of waiting for “someday.”

 

Seven days forces decisions. Seven days kills overthinking. Seven days proves you can actually finish.

 

This is your chance to try it. To test an idea. To pull together friends and collaborators and see what happens when you commit to the clock.

​🔥 Filming week is March 11 - March 18, so mark your calendar! 🔥 It all kicks off at BUS, where you’ll get your official challenge details, meet fellow filmmakers, and get hyped to bring your vision to life.

At the end of the challenge, every completed film hits the big screen in a marathon showcase—one day, all the films —followed by an epic awards ceremony.
