CC7D Cell Phone Project: 7 Days. Your Phone. No Limits.
Think you’ve got a story to tell? Prove it.
The CC7D Cell Phone Project is your shot at turning ideas into indie film magic—no fancy cameras, no big budgets, just your phone and your creativity.
Born from the legendary Corpus Christi 7 Day Film Project (CC7D), this challenge is all about fast, fearless filmmaking. You get seven days, a few creative curveballs (aka required elements), and one mission: make a film that slaps. Whether you’re a seasoned filmmaker, an aspiring content creator, or just someone with a wild imagination and a phone, this is your time to shine.
🔥 Filming week is March 12 - March 19, so mark your calendar! 🔥 It all kicks off at House of Rock, where you’ll get your official challenge details, meet fellow filmmakers, and get hyped to bring your vision to life.
At the end of the challenge, every completed film hits the big screen in a marathon showcase—one day, all the films —followed by an epic awards ceremony. Save the date for April 13 at Alamo Drafthouse - Corpus Christi. It’s where DIY cinema meets community hype, and where your film could take home serious bragging rights.
No excuses, no gatekeeping—just you, your phone, and the chance to create something unforgettable.
